If Only...!!

If only life was as simple as ABC,
If only things actually were what we see.
If only all questions had their answers,
If only the future was known before it comes.
If only I could make a wish each day,
If only there was complete leisure on a Sunday.
If only freedom could be achieved for free,
If only love was the only subject to study.
If only there was always a shoulder to rest your head on,
If only a soothing touch woke you up at every dawn.
If only people could accept you the way you are,
If only there was no regret for anything so far.
If only the air I breathe was pure,
If only that one hug was the cure.
If only I could live every moment fearless,
If only I was allowed to be a little careless.
If only every heart-beat could be felt,
If only every pain could easily melt.
If only tears and pearls had the same value,
If only life was a plain road to drive through.
World would have been a better place to live !
A smile would have been easier to give !
